On Halloween, Al Roker’s weather segment underwent a spooky change as the typical map of the country was swapped for a more festive one.
Along with a befitting dark color theme, the map was graced with jack-o'-lanterns, spiders, and spooky fonts, along with a title banner that read "Trick-or-Treat Forecast."
He began the segment by saying, "It's going to be chilly in Mt Mystery, Washington tomorrow night. Howling winds will be present around the Great Lakes."
"Transylvania, Louisiana, 50 degrees," playfully remarked Roker in a Dracula accent.
He continued to provide weather updates for various locations while highlighting entertaining, horror-themed spots across the country.
Craig Melvin said, "How about a shout-out to your graphics department?" praising the creative imagery behind Roker’s segment. The meteorologist agreed, acknowledging the team's fantastic work in bringing it to life.
