ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt, daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has become an official member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College in Atlanta.
The AKA is distinguished as the first historically Black sorority in the United States, which was founded on January 15, 1908, at Howard University in Washington, DC.
Zahara Jolie-Pitt's sorority introduction video
Essence posted a video on social media on November 15, where Zahara was seen enthusiastically coming forward from a line of her sorority sisters to introduce herself.
As she shook and head and performed a series of well-practiced moves, Zaha loudly announced to a cheering crowd, "My name is Zahara Marley Jolie. Coming all the way from the Golden State in the city that is full of angels, Los Angeles, California … I am this line’s number seven.”
The 18-year-old college sophomore was wearing a black long-sleeved midi dress, accessorized with black gloves and pearl jewelry.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are proud and supportive of their daughter
According to Page Six, Angelina, 48, has been spotted visiting her daughter on the college campus since she moved to Atlanta last year. In October 2022, the 'Maleficent' star dropped in at Sppelman for homecoming, only months after she had dropped off Zahara at the college.
The actress stopped for photographs with fans on both occasions.
Brad Pitt, Angelina's 59-year-old former husband with whom she shares six kids, has previously gushed about his daughter, telling Vanity Fair in August 2022, "(Zahara’s) going to flourish even more at college. It’s an exciting and beautiful time to find her own way and pursue her interests. I’m so proud. Where does the time go, right? They grow up too fast. It brings a tear to the eye.”
