Details of the incident
The incident took place on Thursday, May 25, following which officials were sent to Saint Luke’s Hospital around 10.20 am after the hospital security called them up, reports New York Daily News. The city’s fire department arrived and placed mats below the building, fearing that the singer might jump. They called negotiators too. The singer eventually came back through the window and was treated by medical staff.
Raz B felt unsafe, said 'fighting to stay alive'
The present video came after the singer uploaded a video on Instagram, with the caption -- "My brother is full of s***!!! I’ve been fighting to stay alive, I don’t wanna have this surgery here …" He also posted the address to a hospital in Kansas City. He repeatedly said in the clip that he didn't feel safe ahead of an unspecified surgical procedure he had scheduled at a Kansas City hospital and was heard saying, "All day I've been trying to clear miscommunications up and I'm letting everybody know right now that - Joseph, I need you to call me right now - I don't feel safe, I'm in Kansas City, I'm at the Hilton hotel and I'm telling everybody right now, Raz-B does not feel safe. Put out an APB for Raz B in Kansas City, I don't feel safe, I don't feel safe - I'm telling everybody right now I don't feel safe."
Shortly after the upload, his followers took to the comment section. One of them wrote, "Y'all really need to get this man into a facility or with the right therapy. Praying for your mental health man. Quit letting these people make money, a mockery and fun of your mental health." Another commented, "Hmmm what’s going on? He looks like he’s having an episode or moment. Hoping all is well or things get better." Raz B’s condition is still a mystery. There has been no accurate information about his behavior.
