Maurice was born and raised in an underserved Black neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio, where ambitions are often left unfulfilled.
Despite the odds, he graduated from Cleveland State University with a degree in Information Systems Technology and Computer Science. His career began as an engineer, and he worked his way up the corporate ladder to become a software architect for a prominent technology corporation.
Maurice also contributed his expertise to the establishment of numerous new technology firms.
Adversity struck Maurice in the form of a serious vehicle accident, which would have deterred most people. Despite a lengthy rehabilitation period, his thirst for technology remained unquenched.
With unwavering dedication, he used this life-changing experience as a catalyst for change. Bot-IT was born as a consequence of Maurice's perseverance and confidence in the ability of technology to effect significant change.
