LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Celine Dion has been busy making some big decisions ever since she was diagnosed with stiff person syndrome back in December last year. The "Queen of Power Ballads" reportedly sold her mammoth Las Vegas residence for a whopping $30 million to private equity investor Chuck Esserman, Dirt reported. The 55-year-old bought the mansion in 2017 for $9.2 million and apparently spent the next years renovating before sealing the eight-figure deal last month.
It is not known if the singer ever moved into the sprawling 31,000-square-foot property which is situated in an affluent private community called The Summit Club. Esserman, the new owner of the residence, is now set to become the new neighbor of actor Mark Wahlberg, author and motivational speaker Tony Robbins, and tech tycoon Marc Andreessen.
Luxurious property
The home sits behind private gates and boasts 1.4 acres, four bedrooms, and a staggering 12 bathrooms. The two-storey home along with a finished basement spans about 14,500 square feet, with a 3,300-square-foot underground garage. There is a swimming pool and spa outside that overlook the private community's golf course designed by award-winning golf course architect Tom Fazio.

Celine's impressive property portfolio includes homes in Florida, one of which has its own waterpark, along with properties in Paris and her native Canada. The 'My Heart Will Go On' singer still resides in her $5-million mansion with her three sons, Rene-Charles, Eddy, and Nelson in the suburb of Henderson.

Celine Dion bought the home in 2003 shortly after launching her 16-year Vegas residency. The grand property includes three large bedrooms, a massive outdoor space with a pool, a private bar, and access to a semi-private golf course. During the Covid pandemic, Dion posted an emotional video to her fans which was shot from inside her beautiful kitchen. As she urged everyone to stay home in the video, the clip also gave viewers a peek inside her chic cooking space.
The Canadian singer was seen sitting at the table in her kitchen in the footage and in front of a large white shelving unit that contained plates and mugs and a coffee machine. The all-white kitchen was decorated with glass-fronted cupboards and stainless-steel fittings. The singer also showed off another room in her house which revealed a very striking all-white theme.
