SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' Season 4 newbie Monica Garcia had a few cosmetic procedures from Beauty Lab + Laser. However, it's currently unclear whether she also got plastic surgery.
Meanwhile, 'RHOSLC' star Heather Gay recently revealed a series of screengrabs of Monica's chat in which she admitted to being "obsessed" with the cosmetic procedures.
After Monica claimed Beauty Lab gave "botched injections" to her nose and lips, Heather's company filed a motion for summary judgment to accelerate the case and dismiss Monica's counterclaims.
According to the court documents obtained by The Sun, Beauty Lab has shared screenshots of chats between Monica and a licensed physician assistant Regan Brooks, who performed the cosmetic procedures on the Bravo star.
In the Instagram messages, Monica complimented and praised how good the services were. In one of the messages from Monica sent on December 10, 2019, obtained by the outlet, Monica showed off her full lips and texted, "OB-SESSED!! You're amaze," adding two heart emojis.
Monica Garcia owes $2,000 to Heather Gay's Beauty Lab
Heather Gay's medical spa Beauty Lab and Laser filed a lawsuit against 'RHOSLC' Season 4 newbie Monica Garcia for "breach of contract and breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing" in August.
The lawsuit revealed that Monica signed a contract with the Beauty Lab on December 10, 2019, to pay $2,449 for cosmetic injection services. However, Monica reportedly only paid the initial installment of $449.
The initial payment included the $49 set-up fee and $400 down payment. Monica was expected to make $200 monthly payments for the next 10 months, but allegedly never did and now she has to pay $2,000 to Beauty Lab.
Monica Garcia countersues Heather Gay's Beauty Lab over 'botched' injection
After Heather Gay's Beauty Lab sued Monica Garcia over $2,000 debt, the 'RHOSLC' Season 4 newbie countersued the company on November 7 and revealed why she didn't pay the remaining installments.
According to the documents obtained by the outlet, Monica revealed that she "received defective, negligently given injections, which did not have the intended, promised result" and that's why she didn't continue to make additional payments.
Monica further claimed that the "botched" injections led her to go to another "competent party to fix the damage" to her nose and lips despite Beauty Lab's offering to fix the damages.
The reality star argued in her counterclaim that Beauty Lab 'promised' her that they would not seek further payment and that she "suffered more damages" than the medical spa.
Heather Gay compares Monica Garcia to Jen Shah
In the recent episode of 'RHOSLC' Season 4, Heather Gay compared Monica Garcia with Jen Shah and noted, "I'm drawn like a moth to the flame with these personality types."
Heather met Angie Katsanevas and recalled the drama between the Bravo newbie and Lisa Barlow. Monica and Lisa had been involved in a huge feud over the past few episodes which ignited during Heather's Pioneer dinner.
However, Heather described Monica's personality in the confessional and claimed, "She could be up and happy and charming and fun. And then angry and vicious and mean and then also just detached and vacant."
The reality star continued, "And as much as I don't want it to, it kind of reminds me of Jen."
