LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In the aftermath of being fired from CNN, Don Lemon has been throwing "temper tantrums" that have driven his fiance, Tim Malone, away and jeopardized the wedding, according to reports.
A friend of the couple remarked, "Don's so out of control right now; he's about to kill his engagement after losing his job," adding, "He'll be left with nothing." Lemon worked for the network for 17 years before they abruptly fired him last month due to his misogynistic on-air remarks. Although he eventually said he "regretted" his comments, the popular presenter had already dug his own grave, as per reports.

'Tim's fed up'
According to reports, 39-year-old Tim attempted to calm the agitated journalist. "But Don wasn't listening, and Tim's fed up!" stated a pal. The pair first connected in 2015 at a gay event, and Tim proposed in April 2019 by having their two dogs, Barkley and Boomer, wear dog tags with the inscription, "Daddy, will you marry papa?" Don was unceremoniously fired without cause last month by CNN CEO Chris Licht.
Don Lemon's CNN exit
"Don will forever be a part of the CNN family, and we thank him for his contributions over the past 17 years," the network said in a statement. "We wish him well and will be cheering him on in his future endeavors." Don denied receiving any notice in response prior to his ouster.
"I was informed this morning by my agent I have been terminated by CNN. I am stunned. After 17 years at CNN, I would have thought that someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly. At no time was I ever given any indication that I would not be able to continue to do the work I have loved at the network. It is clear that there are some larger issues at play," Lemon said.
As per sources, Don has recruited the formidable Bryan Freedman to defend him in his departure from CNN and has plans to publish a tell-all memoir. According to sources, Don's contract still owes him eight figures. According to a source, "Don feels like he's been a gold more solid at CNN and that he's a scapegoat for the failure of the morning show he was forced to co-host with Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins." He added, "He's looking for payback!" as reported by Radar Online.
