LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Yes, the title doesn't have any mistakes, Pete Davidson is actually making an appearance in 'Fast X', and while his character doesn't really make an impact on the plot, it provides the comfort of a familiar face. The cast of 'Fast X' is way longer than the one which was promoted and actors come into viewpoint as Easter eggs. There is always room at the Fast family table, as one character expresses, "Everyone becomes family… it’s like a cult with cars and we're all just a 'BBQ and a beer away' from being one of them."
Unexpected cameos isn't an alien concept when it comes to the 'Fast and Furious' franchise. Fans saw Rita Ora dropping in 'Fast & Furious 6' and Iggy Azalea showing up in 'Furious 7', and many more have appeared in the 'Fast' franchise. With 'Fast X', the list of cameos is longer, but lukewarm at best.

Pete Davidson plays 'Bowie420'
Pete Davidson's Bowie420 lives in London and works in an ancient internet cafe in the city. The supporting characters Roman, Tej, Ramsey, and Han ask Bowie420 for help when they're stuck in the city with no money. When the characters arrive at the cafe, it seems they have stepped into the world of an 1990s Asian movie. The light is dim, there are drug-filled desserts, which are fun muffins, according to Pete's character. The entire vibe of an internet cafe comes full circle with the constant sound of dial-up internet.
The production adds new characters and forgets about them
While we won't see Davidson's character in the next part, It seems like different characters are added to the list and when others come along, the production either forgets about them or just gives them a 5-minute scene to cover for the losses.
Helen Mirren has become a recurring character since 'The Fate of the Furious'. She plays Queenie Shaw in the movie. While that is a mystery, we are still quite bamboozled about Cardi B's character in part nine and would love to know more about Dom's past with her.
