Tiger Woods, 47, is yet to play at a tournament since the Masters in April. He sustained an ankle injury that required him to be removed during the third round. Woods had to undergo surgery. He had to recuperate from the setback during the past few months.
But last week, the renowned golfer was seen working out at the Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas. He will now compete in the Hero World Challenge event at the same course.
Since the PGA Tour was established in 2000, Woods has served as its host every year. He will now face 19 other players in an attempt to defeat Viktor Hovland, the winner from the previous year.
Spiranac is one of the biggest golf enthusiasts on social media. She also frequently shares photos on the Internet. Spiranac took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to express her excitement at the news. She wrote, "Tiger Woods is back!"
When Paige Spiranac met Tiger Woods
Prominent golf personality Paige Spiranac recently shared a personal revelation with her vast legion of followers. She recounted a memorable golf lesson she received from none other than the legendary Tiger Woods, a 15-time major champion widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport.
Among the questions posed during the Q&A, one questioned stood out: "Who do you fan girl over?"
She said, “I have a lot of pretty cool stories that I would want to share but unfortunately when I do, when I meet someone, the comments are [puts on a deep voice], ‘oh, he nailed her after and I bet they… you know,” she said.
"And it’s like ‘no’, I can have a normal interaction with someone. It’s disrespectful for me and to that person, and if they have a wife or significant other. So don’t [do that], it ruins it.
She added, "So bearing that in mind, I did fan girl over Tiger Woods. He’s the only person I got so incredibly nervous [over] while having a lesson at his charity event, Tiger Jam [which raises money for Woods’ education-based charity]."
“I was shaking like a leaf, I was so nervous. But he was so nice. That was one moment where I was like, ‘I can’t believe this is my life’," she said.
