NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Jesse Watters called for a scrutiny of the Palestinian society in Gaza on his prime time show.
The news host has vehemently spoken up against any aid to be provided to civilians of Gaza because of their association and "similarities" with their leaders, the militant group Hamas.
In a recent segment on his show, he pointed out that certain cultural elements of the Palestinians like child marriages and incestuous relationships equate them to the actions of Hamas.
Jesse Watters says Palestinians are a 'broken society'
Watters went on to cite several sources that have found issues with the people of Palestine.
"The Palestinians are a broken society. They have been the pariah of the Arab world for decades. None of their Arab neighbors want anything to do with them," Watters said.
He added, "They just want to use them as political fodder. Arab leaders have said that the Palestinian refugees are incompatible with their cultures."
The Arab countries primarily have the concern that Palestinian refugees will be rendered landless if they were to find refuge in their countries.
Several countries have been housing around a million Palestinians ever since the onset of the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Israel has rejected Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland in the past which doesn't set a good record for the current Gazans stuck in the Strip to find refuge while the war goes on.
Watters also added, "Psychologists who have studied the Palestinians in Gaza say the population is plagued by severe psychiatric disorders."
The study was shared by an Israeli news platform Haaretz which revealed the violent gender discrimination in Gaza. Watters found this suitable to club all Palestinians with Hamas.
"Child brides are prevalent throughout Palestinian neighborhoods. On top of that, national medical journals estimated nearly half of marriages are between relatives. This has led to significant medical deficiencies. Ideology? I mean the Palestinians -- a lot in common with Hamas!" Watters said.
Jesse Watters slams President Joe Biden's $100M aid to Gaza
The Fox News host also brought up Hamas' charter which calls for resistance against Israel and the re-creation of an Islamic state in Palestine.
"A recent survey found that most Palestinians desire an armed religious uprising against the Jews. Political violence is supported. Wiping Israel off the map is literally in Gaza's founding charter."
Watters brought up that POTUS Joe Biden's decision to provide aid to Palestinians could backfire.
"Biden is soft-pedaling this," he said as a clip of President Biden saying "Hamas doesn't represent the Palestinian people" in his Israel address played afterward.
"Not to be cliche but it's a little more complicated than that," Watters commented.
"That's why giving these people a $100 million and then flying plane-loads of them into New York may not be kosher," he added.
Watters then reiterated the stance of his primetime show in this conflict.
"Primetime respects and loves all people from all cultures and we have no interest in harming the Palestinian people. But it's important to scrutinize exactly what we are dealing with here," Watters said.
