NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Jesse Watters has urged Israel to win the "war in the press" amid the ongoing Israel-Gaza war.
This comes after the bombing of a hospital in Gaza resulted in hundreds of deaths, putting Israel and the IDF under fire for the barbaric attack.
However, Israel refused to take responsibility for the attack and has instead blamed it on Hamas, claiming that it was a misfire from the militant group.
With many slamming Israel for such a barbaric act, Watters urged the country to take steps to win the "press war."
Jesse Watters asks Israel to win over the press
Watters suggested on 'The Five' that Israel's military operations will only be successful if they win the press.
"Israel should be very vigilant and exploiting their technology and surveillance capabilities to win this war in the press," the Fox News host said.
"Because the press has a lot of effect upon what the Israeli military is going to be able to do," he went on to add.
"You know they are going to be under so much pressure to go in on the ground and go in quickly when it's not an easy job when you deal with tunnels," Watters said.
Watters was referring to the Israel-Gaza war being primarily fought underground where many of the tunnels connect the two areas at the borders and have made the military exchange a lot trickier.
Jesse Watters says 'you cannot believe what you hear from Hamas'
Even after the many civilian casualties that Gaza has witnessed in the past few hours, Watters seemed confident in his stance against Palestinians.
Referring to the POTUS visit to Israel, he said Joe Biden should have the same outlook.
"This strike obviously complicates the Biden visit," he said, "He did not expect this to happen. Now, he is going down a day later after 200 civilians are allegedly dead," Watters said.
Watters continued, "And there's an information warfare situation that he needs to get out there and say, 'If I were the President, I would be very clear that you cannot believe what you hear from the Palestinians. You cannot believe what you hear from Hamas.'"
As he has previously done, Watters compared Palestinian civilians to the militant group Hamas.
He explained, "They are traditionally deceptive. And they are even denying some of the things that they did to these children and to these women."
He added, "So, if I were Israel, I would just be flooding the zone with as many facts and as many exhibits to prove that what they were doing was righteous and what they are doing is surgical because this is tough."
Watter said, "No one likes to see people die in a hospital like that."
