NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star George Stephanopoulos will soon be a published author of an incredibly exciting book named ‘The Situation Room: The Inside Story of Presidents in Crisis’ which details anecdotes about The Whites House Situation Room.
The 62-year-old took to Instagram to share this pivotal moment in his career away from the morning show.
The veteran host spent time in The White House during the era of President Bill Clinton, having first-hand accounts of various stories inside the Situation Room.
He has co-authored the book with Lisa Dickey which is now available for pre-order.

George shared the update with his followers on Instagram by sharing the cover of the book.
In the post, the book is placed in the center as the White House Situation Room is visible in the background.
George captioned his post, “I am incredibly excited to reveal the cover of my new book, The Situation Room: The Inside Story of Presidents in Crisis.”
He continued, “Years in the making, my co-writer, Lisa Dickey and I explore the power, secrecy, and mystery that is the White House Situation Room, the epicenter of crisis management for presidents for more than six decades. The Situation Room is now available for pre-order (link in bio), and will be released on May 14th, 2024!”
The fans of the host were delighted to hear about it and wanted to be the first ones to get their hands on it.
One excited fan wrote, “Congratulations George, can't wait for its release date! Very enticing name!”
A second said, “Oh this will be on my read list for 2024! You should do a docuseries after the release!”
Another added, “So excited for you! And the pub date is my birthday!!” while a fourth mentioned, “Count me in! I’m buying it."

George’s co-host introduced George’s latest creation and teased him that “he’s been hard at work lately.”
Everyone cheered George in the studio as he exclaimed, “I’m so excited about this book. I’ve been working on it for a year and a half.”
He then spoke about the book and mentioned that the book is about the history of The White House Situation Room and details the biggest crisis as seen through the eyes of different Presidents in the Situation Room.
George also teased an anecdote about President Jimmy Carter during the Iran hostage crisis in the book.
Roberts later revealed that the book is available to pre-order and will be released on May 14, 2024.
