NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star George Stephanopoulos took a dig at his co-host Michael Strahan for his continued absence from the morning show, asking him whether he’s looking to add “another job” to his already busy work portfolio.
The former NFL star appeared as a guest judge on the celebrity dance competition ‘Dancing with the Stars’ (DWTS) during the show’s Motown Night.
Apart from his appearance on DWTS, Strahan is renowned for juggling multiple jobs which include hosting The $100,000 Pyramid, covering the NFL for Fox on weekends, and promoting his clothing line and brand.
This has forced Strahan to miss ‘GMA’ on Mondays and also a few other days in the week. However, when the ex-NFL virtually appeared on the morning show from Los Angeles, George couldn’t help but tease him.
George Stephanopoulos takes a playful jab at Michael Strahan for missing ‘GMA’ again
Over the past few weeks, Strahan has missed ‘GMA' on Mondays due to covering football the night before. For now, the 51-year-old is reporting from the West Coast and was also out there for another gig — guest-judging 'Dancing With the Stars.'
However, he appeared on ‘GMA’ virtually and spoke to his co-stars, Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos about his stint as a judge on 'DWTS.'
At this point, George teased Strahan and asked, “Are you going to add another job to your portfolio now, Michael?”
Everyone in the studio laughed and Strahan took a beat to reply. “No George, I'm sticking right there next to you.”
Strahan added, "And George, I'll add another job to my portfolio when you dance on national television," much to the enjoyment of the other hosts.
George waited for his moment to respond and then shot back with, "How much do you guys want to bet he gets another job before I dance on Dancing with the Stars?”
Roberts who was sitting next to George in the studio joked, “There is nothing that you can't do but we thought we were gonna see a little Magic Mike. We thought we were gonna see you bust a move."

He revealed that it was an "incredible night," adding that the judges, host, and dancers "couldn't be more welcoming" and made him feel like he belonged.
Because of the show's atmosphere he happily agreed to join the show of a night as he exclaimed: "Yes, I want to be a guest judge!”
