Ali took to Instagram to acknowledge Throwback Thursday with a photo from the past which sees her daughters at a nascent stage in their lives.
In the snap, Ali was sitting on the stairs at their home with Elliott standing behind her, leaning on her, as the two smiled and posed for the camera.
Ali held a newborn Harper in her arms while sitting on the stairs while Elliott, who was around three years old, was holding onto her mom's shoulders.
They all looked to their side, where the camera was, as the photo was clicked. She simply captioned the post, “#TBT," an acronym for Throwback Thursday.
Ali wore a light blue top with white embroidery on it and faded blue jeans, showing off the attire of a bygone era. Elliott wore a floral printed dress whereas Harper matched her mother in a light blue and white outfit.
Fans loved Ali’s throwback snap and left adorable comments on it. One said, “Such a beautiful photo, you look gorgeous and the joy radiating from being with your daughters. They are too cute. Time goes by much too quickly.”
A second person wrote, “It goes so fast!” while a third added, “I love this picture. Where did that time go.” Another person said, “Such great memories”

She hugged him from the side in this snap and captioned the post, “To help deal with the pain of being empty nesters - I made George dress like it was his first day of class at a boy’s elementary school.”
The mother of two once prepared a sweet dish to keep her mind off the feeling of being an empty nester. She prepared a plum tart and called it “momentary bliss.”
The duo recently dropped Harper off at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, for her first year of college.
