NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star Robin Roberts’ daily ‘morning message’ was hounded by a fan who pointed out a broken ‘lightbulb’ in the host’s dressing room.
The 62-year-old has a long-standing tradition of gracing the feeds of her fans and followers every weekday morning with a powerful and uplifting motivational message.
Roberts shared an uplifting passage on adversity with her followers during her latest morning message.
It was in this video that a broken lightbulb in the background bothered a fan who asked the host, “When are we replacing that one bulb on the left?”
Robin Roberts' broken lightbulb triggers fan's 'OCD'
Roberts went about her work enlightening fans with another moving message about fighting and persevering when adversity arises.
She captioned her video, "Good morning! #GlamFam & I here to share with you our #tuesdaythoughts #cmon.”
After the clip was posted, many fans congratulated her in the comments on her upcoming wedding to fiancee Amber Laign.
The other comments were also mostly positive and thanked her for sharing her commentary.
One fan, however, was not concerned with the content of the video, but was more bothered by the images.
He pointed out that the lightbulb on the dressing table was no longer shining in the video.
"Miss @robinrobertsgma I must ask WHEN are we replacing that one bulb on the left?" he asked.
"I love your morning messages, but my own OCD keeps my eye looking over at it, wanting to just come up there and replace it for you! I have extra in my bulb arsenal!!"
Roberts immediately sprung to action and gracefully replied to the pleas of this disturbed fan.
She wrote, "Very sorry the bulb disturbs you, "I've repeatedly asked for it to be replaced and hope it will be soon. Again, my apologies.”
The fan was taken aback and didn’t expect Roberts to reply to his comment. He later commented, “@robinrobertsgma oh my goodness, no apologies!!! I was truly being silly!”
