NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ correspondent Deborah Roberts was recently trolled by a few fans after she miscalculated the number of days left for Christmas in the caption of her Instagram post.
Fans pointed out the error in the post, which led Roberts to edit it and correct her mistake. However, the ‘GMA’ star wasn’t spared in the comments as fans reminded her of her gruesome mathematical mistake.
The fans and followers told Roberts that they were scared to see the original caption but then thanked her after she changed it later.
However, Roberts did reply to one fan who asked the ‘GMA’ star to “not scare us.” To this fan, the ‘GMA’ star particularly wrote with grace that her “math was suffering”
‘GMA’ Deborah Roberts makes mathematical error on Christmas post
Roberts gave her fans a glimpse into New York City getting ready for Christmas with decorations all around.
She posted a photo of a massive holiday-themed clock for Christian Dior and Saks, as well as a video of passersby admiring it.
She captioned the snap, “City sidewalks…dressed in holiday style. The season is on in NYC. 34 days til Christmas. Are you ready?”
However, fans noted the fact that it was edited after being posted, denoting that there was a previous version of the caption.
In the comments section, one fan pointed out what had been changed, as they thanked Deborah for changing the number of days until Christmas from what she had originally posted.
Roberts had originally written “25 days until Christmas,” as one shocked user pointed out.
Many later pointed out that it wasn’t 25 days until the late-December holiday but actually 34, as of that day.
