NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Robin Roberts is savoring the joys of married life! The celebrity marked her 63rd birthday in the company of her partner, Amber Laign, and shared some snapshots on her Instagram.
In her first post, Roberts shared a Story, which had a cupcake with a single candle on it, and a bouquet next to it. "Grateful for another trip around the sun," she wrote alongside the photograph,” she wrote.
In the second story, Roberts was seen sporting her bedazzled white sneakers, a wedding gift from Gayle King. She captioned the photo, "... Celebrating my first trip around the sun as a married woman."
Roberts and her partner share 18 years bond
Roberts and Laign got married in September after being together for 18 year, as per People.
Among the attendees at her wedding were some of Roberts' 'GMA' colleagues, such as George Stephanopoulos, Sam Champion, Lara Spencer, Michael Strahan, David Muir, Gio Benetiz, Dr Jen Ashton, and Tory Johnson.
Providing an update on her wedding through her social media, Roberts shared, "An intimate, magical wedding ceremony in our backyard followed by a joyous reception... ohhhh the dancing!!"

The pair got engaged in 2022
The couple became engaged last year, and reflecting on the experience, Roberts commented on 'GMA,' "Now looking back, it was pretty fitting for us to not have a down-on-one-knee [proposal] and one person doing it and who was going to propose."
"It was just us hanging out in our little hole-in-the-wall Mexican spot and putting calamari rings on each other and saying, 'Let's go. Let's do it.'"
Robin Roberts recently participated in the New York City Marathon, and Laign supported her partner. 'GMA’ star further wrote, “Always there to support each other! #marathonsunday #SweetAmber #maritalbliss."
Roberts was joined by many of her other co-stars like Ginger Zee, Deborah Roberts, and DeMarco Morgan but she posted about her biggest supporter wife Amber Laign, reports MEAWW.
On her Instagram, she shared a clip of completing the first leg, expressing, "Had the honor of running the first leg of @abcnews relay in the @nycmarathon, passing the baton to @willreeve_!"
She added, "We’re running for a fabulous organization @teamforkids that raises funds for youth programs. Grateful to members of the team who ran the 3 miles with me; their encouragement got me over the hump, which was the steep Verrazzano Bridge!"
