Kendall Jenner quizzed about 'editing out' Bad Bunny from latest photo dump
Kendall Jenner quizzed about 'editing out' Bad Bunny from latest photo dump
Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny have sparked dating rumours after being photographed together at different events - but fans have noted the Puerto Rican rapper was absent from the model's recent Instagram post. The pair were recently spotted together on May 12 at the Western Conference Semifinal Playoff basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors at Crypto.com Arena. In the snaps, Jenner and Bad Bunny could be seen chatting to each other, with one photo in particular becoming a mansplaining meme as the Grammy Award winner leaned over to tell the model and reality TV star something while she did her best to listen. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter But now in a recent post to Instagram, Jenner posted a photo dump which included aerial snaps of herself in an all-black outfit with sunglasses, a mirror selfie, her 818 jeans, a foal and 818 airplane ad banner, a snap with a friend, a video riding a horse and pic of the sea. There was also a photo of Jenner at the basketball game with her friend Renell Medrano, as they both posed giving the camera the middle finger - but no sign of Bad Bunny who was sat on the other side of her. Bad Bunny fans were quick to comment how the rapper - whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio - didn't feature in any pictures that were posted by Jenner, and urged her to "post him." One person asked: "Where are the pictures with Beniittooo." "Y el conejo?," another person asked, which according to Instagram in English translates to "And the rabbit?" Someone else added: "Is this like the clues to a scavenger hunt." "Where the f* is @badbunnypr???!" a fourth person commented. Elsewhere, Kendall Jenner's transparent dress defended from 'disrespectful perverts'. Have your say in our news democracy. Emily Blunt apologises after ’fatphobic’ 2012 interview resurfaces
Emily Blunt apologises after ’fatphobic’ 2012 interview resurfaces
Actress Emily Blunt has apologised after a video of her making a "fatphobic" comment resurfaced online. The clip, which was from a 2012 interview on The Jonathan Ross Show, shows Blunt telling a story where she refers to a Chili's worker as "enormous" for seemingly no reason. "The girl who was serving me was enormous. I think she got freebie meals at Chili's", Blunt said to TV host Jonathan Ross who responded to her description of the woman by saying: "Nothing wrong with that." In a statement issued to The Independent, Blunt apologised for her comments saying: "I just need to address this head on as my jaw was on the floor watching this clip from 12 years ago. I'm appalled that I would say something so insensitive, hurtful, and unrelated to whatever story I was trying to tell on a talk show. "I've always considered myself someone who wouldn't dream of upsetting anyone so whatever possessed me to say anything like this in that moment is unrecognisable to me or anything I stand for. And yet it happened, and I said it and I'm so sorry for any hurt caused. I was absolutely old enough to know better." Many called out Blunt's comments on social media when the video first resurfaced. Others called the comment "unnecessary" and said Blunt appeared to "be a not very nice person". Some said they felt sad for the waitress who was likely excited to meet Blunt, only to see her being shamed for her body on TV by the actress. Hugh Grant criticised by dwarf actor over Wonka role:
Hugh Grant criticised by dwarf actor over Wonka role: "We are being pushed out of the industry"
An actor with dwarfism has hit out at the new film Wonka for casting Hugh Grant as an Oompa Loompa. George Coppen, 26, said the part should have been offered to an actor with the condition because there is already a shortage of appropriate roles for people with dwarfism. The upcoming movie will focus on the life of Willy Wonka, the mysterious character at the centre of the Roald Dahl novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, played by Timothee Chalamet. It features Grant as an Oompa Loompa trapped inside a jar. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter In previous versions of the story based on Roald Dahl's novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the characters were played by actors with dwarfism. Coppen, whose father played an Ewok in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, said: “A lot of actors [with dwarfism] feel like we are being pushed out of the industry we love. “A lot of people, myself included, argue that dwarfs should be offered everyday roles in dramas and soaps, but we aren’t getting offered those roles.” In the trailer, Grant’s character is seen saying: “I will have you know that I am a perfectly respectable size for an Oompa Loompa."Wonka replies: “An Oompa what now?” The Oompa Loopma says: “Allow me to refresh your memory.” “Oh, I don't think I want to hear that,” Wonka says. “Too late,” the Oompa Loompa answers. “I’ve started dancing now. Once we’ve started we can’t stop.” People commented on Grant’s role on Twitter. One person wrote: “Hugh Grant is definitely in his IDGAF [I don’t give a f***] era, every decision this man makes is insane and I love it.” Another wrote: “Thought another Wonka movie was unnecessary but now I'm sold, give me more Oompa Loompa Hugh Grant”. Wonka’s release date is 15 December 2023. Have your say in our news democracy. Click the upvote icon at the top of the page to help raise this article through the indy100 rankings.
