The internet has been criticising Keke Palmer’s boyfriend, Darius Jackson after he publicly shamed an outfit she wore to an Usher concert, but Palmer has been praised by fans for her unbothered response. After Twitter account RNB RADAR posted a video of Usher serenading the Nope star as she wore a black bodysuit under a sheer polka dot dress, Jackson, with who she shares a baby with, quoted the Tweet writing “it’s the outfit tho… you a mom.” “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a heater he is.” Jackson said in an attempt to defend his earlier comments. “This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. Whilst Palmer hasn’t directly addressed her boyfriend’s comments, she did post on Instagram numerous images of herself in the outfit and fans loved it. Over its history, social media has provided us with some truly legendary content that will live long in the memory. Today is the 11 year anniversary of one such tweet, in which British actor Danny Dyer called the 9/11 attackers “slags”. The horrifying attacks on 11 Septemer 2001 claimed the lives of 2,977 victims when 19 terrorists hijacked and crashed four planes in a co-ordinated attack on the United States. The events shocked the world and the disbelief at what actually occurred has continued for years following. 11 years after the attacks in 2012, Dyer took to Twitter to express just that, writing in typical Cockney fashion: “Can’t believe it’s been nearly 11 years since them slags smashed into the twin towers it still freaks my nut out to this day.” At the time, Dyer deleted the tweet shortly after posting it, but not before several screenshots saw it go down in internet history. “Can’t believe it’s been 11 years since Danny Dyer’s brilliant 9/11 tweet,” one person wrote. Some pointed out that we have reached the point where the tweet sent by Danny Dyer is as far away from us as it was after the events of 9/11. Donald Trump has doubled down on his apparent dislike of Kim Kardashian, dubbing her the “most overrated celebrity”. It’s the second time the controversial former president has had something to say about the star, despite seemingly having a good relationship with the reality star during his time in office. In Jonathan Karl's book about the last few tumultuous weeks of Trump’s presidency, he suggested that the relationship first soured after Trump made a deal with Kardashian that he would help her with a clemency case, in return for her having some of her football star friends visit him in the White House – something that never transpired. Karl claimed Trump ultimately hung up a phone call from Kardashian in a rage, and after some “choice words”, over the alleged broken promise and his belief that she supported Joe Biden. Now, Trump has taken to social media to publically call out Kardashian in a scathing rant calling her “overrated”. In his post on Truth Social, he claimed that Karl’s version of events are “fake news”. He wrote: “In the ‘book’ he has the World’s most overrated celebrity, Kim Kardashian, supposedly telling me that she ‘would leverage her celebrity to get football stars to come to the White House,’ if I would commute the sentences of various prisoners. “This story is Fake News in that she would be the last person I asked to get football players.” Elsewhere in the long post, he wrote: “I did help with prisoner commutation, but only if deserving, and much more so for Kanye West than for Kim, who probably voted for Crooked Joe Biden.” Kardashian and Trump met in the Oval Office in 2018 to talk about prison reform and sentencing, as well as the pardoning of Alice Johnson, who was serving a life sentence for nonviolent drug and money laundering charges.
