It is the kind of unlikely love story that would make the scriptwriters of Asia's biggest movie business proud. Despite thousands of miles between them, a romance has blossomed between Australia and Bollywood's movers and shakers.

A mother has revealed was shamed for dressing her five-month-old son every morning, in order to teach him how to take pride in his appearance. On 27 July, Geordian Abel - a 29-year-old fashion influencer and boutique owner from Fort Worth, Texas - received “brutal” backlash after her TikTok explaining that she dresses her son, Hutton, every day went viral. In the video, Abel was seen in a tan maxi dress adorned with a bow, while her son was dressed in a green polo onesie. She told viewers: “I think it’s important to instill in him from a young age that we get up, we get dressed, we take pride in what we’re wearing and how we look.” She captioned the video: “Teach ‘em young.” In an interview with Insider, the Flourish In Frills owner said that she made the TikTok video after receiving many comments on her “outfit of the day” (OOTD) videos, as viewers questioned why she and her son get “dressed to the nines” every day. The video has since received more than two million views and an onslaught of negative comments on the platform, which Abel later described as “brutal” in a follow-up video. “I too wear a one shoulder cocktail dress on a Monday morning,” one user snarked, while someone else wrote: “The greatest gift you can give him is to teach him not to care what other people think.” @geordianabel Teach em young ? #momlife #babyboy #4monthsold ♬ original sound - Geordian TikToker @bugsbryant added to the discourse when she stitched Abel’s video with her own TikTok, which quickly went viral with 2.3m views. “We are in the same clothes we slept in,” she replied to Abel’s post. “It is currently 3pm, and we will stay in this attire until tomorrow or until I decide to do the mountain of laundry that’s upstairs.” In a follow-up video, Abel told viewers that while she’s decided to take the criticism with a grain of salt, the “mom-shaming’s gotta stop.” She doubled down on dressing her son Hutton every day in a 29 August video, where she shared that the routine could “set him up for success for job interviews” or help counteract depression in the future. @bugsbryant #stitch with @Geordian ♬ original sound - BugsBryant Viewers in the comment section agreed with Abel, writing: “Exactly!!! She hasn’t let the online negativity change the way she gets her son ready for the day, telling Insider that she’s a proponent of dressing with panache and flair. “I am super passionate about look good, feel good,” Abel said. The mom of one added that her positive attitude was instilled by her own mother from a young age. Plus, a boutique owner, she lives and breathes clothes and wouldn’t have it any other way. “I probably love clothes a tad more than the next girl,” she explained. “But even getting up and putting on athleisure, if that’s their jam, does a world of difference.” The Independent has reached out to Geordian Abel for comment. Elon Musk, billionaire and self-confessed 'power-mage' (albeit decent with a sword and katana), might've put his foot in it once more following his comments regarding work-from-home; especially when considering his prior tweeting about what he does in his 'spare time'. Specifically, how can someone who says they work 20-hour days, or 17-hour days, also complete an intensive video game- within months of release? Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Elon Musk has performed a number of interviews recently, and it seems like he's been given an easy ride. People are starting to pick up on the fact that nobody has asked him about Elden Ring: People want Elon Musk to be asked about Elden Ring. Well, Indy100 are more than happy to help - 'Timothy Faust'. In an interview segment with CNBC titled Tesla CEO Elon Musk: ‘The laptop class is living in la-la land’ over work-from-home, Musk declared that remote working is a 'moral issue'. He believes that because a working class commutes to working locations to build cars or cook food - that other workers should also commute. Musk has said before that he works 20 hours a day. He says in the above interview that he sleeps six hours a day. He has routinely said he commits to 80-100 hour workweeks. During his early days at Twitter, he said he was working 24/7. Musk works a lot. Based on the latest interview where he says he sleeps six hours a day, Musk has around 18 hours per day to either work or not work. There are 168 hours in a week. Based on the 80-100 hour workweek comments, Elon, at maximum, spends 60 per cent (14 hours a day) of his time working, leaving nine hours for sleep and recreation. If he sleeps six hours, he has three or four hours for everything else - including Elden Ring. He admitted that on May 23rd that the game was the 'most beautiful art he had ever seen.' Elon, I cannot disagree. As someone who spammed Rivers of Blood to murder four end-game bosses in an hour with a raging headache following weeks of failure, Elden Ring to me is also art. However, when he is saying he has experienced Elden Ring in its entirety, and that his workweek is so intense, there's a contradiction. My playtime with Elden Ring is around 120 hours. I played it damn near every day in marathon stints with a few week-long pauses when my own rapid deaths in a playthrough were mangling my mind. I finished the game in June. I started it in February. It took me - apparently - until early March to beat the first three bosses in my list of achievements on Xbox - Leonine Misbegotten, Margit the Fell Omen and Shardbearer Godrick. I am somewhat awful at the game. I beat the game. I do wish I recorded my pre-patch decimation of Radahn, though. I won't go into the description of Musk's build, but it's terrible. Kotaku went in on it. My build was pretty cheesy and I could bonk enemies on the head and kill them in seconds. If I took 120 hours to experience close to everything in Elden Ring, there's no way Elon completed it quicker with the build that had him 'fat rolling' all over the place. My experience has me completing Elden Ring in 100 days - give or take. That's 1.2 hours per day. I do not work the number of hours a day that Elon says he does. Assuming Elon completed Elden Ring in the same time as I did, he'd spent around 25 percent of his non-working time playing Elden Ring until completion. That's based on him having around four hours to himself without working or sleeping. The only figure we've got to use for Elon's completion date is the day he posted 'Elden Ring experienced in its entirety most beautiful art he had ever seen' - May 24th 2022. This is 87 days after Elden Ring's US release on February 25th. Assuming Elon completed the game on May 24th, and assuming he started on February 25th, that gives him 348 non-working hours in the 87 days between release and completion. If he spent 120 hours on Elden Ring (like my completion time) alone, a third of his non-working time between February and May was spent playing Elden Ring. For a person as busy as Elon appears to be, I feel like it's also fairly implausible to suggest a duel business owner (at the time) and parent who says they work that much could spend a third of their non-working time playing a video game. There are 8760 hours in a year. Elon sleeps for 2190 hours (25 percent of his time), he works for 5082 hours (58 percent of his time with two days off accounted for) and has around 1489 hours spare (17 percent of his time.) Obviously, this is all estimation and approximation - Musk may not be entirely serious when he says what he says, and every day is probably going to differ. Alas. That means that he spent 8 percent of his spare time last year playing Elden Ring. That in itself is not specifically odd, but by Elon's own admission, he has less time than everyone else as he is so busy. A man who had so little time spent so much of it gaming. That is pure dedication or exaggeration. To take the words, well, word-for-word, it'd seem obvious that Musk is exaggerating, or twisting words to make a more brutal point than needed. At the same time, it feels odd to say that in an interview where you're hitting WFH employees over the head - you'd want to be taken seriously, right? He was asked off the cuff. He replied off the top of his head. There's no problem, except that the context of Musk's words in the interview relates to dismissing remote working and the 'laptop class'. Where did Elon actually find the time to play Elden Ring? Was becoming Elden Lord classed as work in his mind (probably, and fair enough). The only way to test this is to get a brave Twitter/Tesla/SpaceX employee to say that playing Elden Ring on company time counts as 'work'. Then we'll see what happens. As for Elon and remote working, let those without sin cast the stones, and perhaps let your workers breathe a little. That's the real moral issue. Have your say in our news democracy. It started out as a relatively gritty film series grounded in the realities of underground street racing, but the Fast and Furious series has evolved and grown exponentially over recent years into something entirely different. Instead of the character dramas about drag races and undercover cops – which admittedly did take a few liberties with the laws of physics from time to time – the last few films have ditched the idea of reality entirely. And why not? People want to see cars being flown into space and Vin Diesel bombing around in a super car dodging explosions, and quite honestly we hope the series continues to get more and more ridiculous as time goes on. When Vin Diesel fought off 20 men and pulled down a building He’s a big guy, Diesel. But is he big enough to fight off a squad of hired goons and pull down the entire bowels of a building with his bare hands? Definitely not. When Vin Diesel smashed into Jason Statham There have been some unhinged moments in the franchise, but sometimes the simplest are the most effective. In this bonkers scene from Fast and Furious 7 Diesel and Jason Statham take part in a demented game of chicken. The pair of them slam their cars head-first into one another, before surviving a crash that would have definitely killed them both. Bonkers. Vin Diesel stopping submarines All of Fast and Furious 8 or Fate of the Furious is like something dreamed up by a five-year-old with their first Hot Wheels set, and nothing is more unrealistic than this moment. It sees Diesel guide a heat-seeking missile into the path of a submarine, before taking cover from the explosion behind their cars, all on a thin sheet of ice. Flying a car into space If the series hadn’t jumped the shark already, then sending a car into space, before breaking the sound barrier and crash landing into a satellite at -270 degrees Celsius in Fast 9 surely did it. When Vin Diesel defied the laws of gravity By this point in Fast and Furious 6, the series had abandoned laws of physics to such a great extent that they gave Diesel straight-up flying capabilities. After Rodríguez is thrown from a tank, she looks doomed to fall from a great height, only for Diesel to take off, zoom through the sky and catch her mid-air, saving the day. Thank heavens. When Vin Diesel develops magic powers in the fourth film This has to be the strangest in the entire list. For a brief moment in Fast 4, the creators of the franchise briefly gave Diesel the power to evaporate into thin air and miss a fatal crash. For a moment, it looked like they’d turned the series’ biggest star into a wizard with magical powers, but then it was never referenced again and things carried on as normal. Very odd. When The Rock held the weight of a chopper Dwayne Johnson’s arrival in the Fast series really helped to turn the franchise into the testosterone-fuelled beast it is today. His first appearance was in Fast 5 and it’s this moment from spin-off movie Hobbs & Shaw where he held the weight of an entire helicopter that really nailed the daftness of his character, and his seemingly limitless strength. Driving from one skyscraper to another The films are never short on spectacle, no-one can deny that. What is debatable, though, is the viability of a car driving out of one hi-rise building and then landing perfectly safe in another skyscraper a little further apart. When Vin Diesel survived direct missile strikes Although Vin Diesel is already in a Marvel film (he plays 'Groot' in Guardians of the Galaxy) – the fact is, he’s been playing a superhero for more than 20 years.
