Season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter is under way, as Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler coach opposing teams of competitors on the UFC television show. McGregor and Chandler’s teams consist of up-and-coming mixed martial artists who are bidding for a contract with the UFC, and fighters who have fought in the promotion in the past and are looking to make their way back. Only one fighter will emerge victorious on the show. McGregor has coached on the programme in the past, going up against Urijah Faber in 2015 and winning with his team. That was a rare case of two coaches taking part in the programme but not fighting each other afterwards, and McGregor vs Chandler has been announced for later this year. No date, location or weight class has been confirmed, but both fighters have promised that the bout will go ahead. The first episode of The Ultimate Fighter season 31 aired on Tuesday 30 May in the US, and on Thursday 1 June in the UK. The series will air weekly episodes until the season finale on 15 August. In the US, the programme is airing on ESPN and ESPN+. In the UK, BT Sport is broadcasting the show on TV, as well as on its website and app. Episodes go live at 10pm BST each Thursday. It is worth noting that BT Sport is being rebranded to TNT Sports in July. A video of Nia Renee Hill, actor, producer, and wife of comedian Bill Burr, has gone viral after many viewers believed she was flipping off former president Donald Trump. But was she actually aiming the gesture at Trump? During a UFC event at Madison Square Gardens, Trump arrived just before the featherweight fight between Diego Lopes and Pat Sabanti. As the former President walks through the seats, Hill can be seen sticking both her middle fingers up. Many believe Hill is directing the gesture at Trump, however she doesn't seem to be looking at the direction of the 77-year-old, rather looking into the cameras. Burr and his wife have both been critical of Trump and other Republicans, such as presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis. Hill hasn't spoken on the now viral clip, so there's uncertainty on whether or not the middle finger was aimed at Trump. Regardless, it has social media pretty divided. Trump supporters were unsurprisingly critical of Hill's gesture that they believed to be aimed at the former President. One Twitter/X user called Hill "disgusting": Whilst another called her "nasty": But critics of Trump called his supporters "hypocrites" for calling Hill names whilst "put[ting] f*ck Biden flags up for kids to read." And many seemed to love Hill's supposed message for Trump: The rest of the UFC crowd, however, seemed happy with Trump's appearance as he entered the arena alongside his son, Donald Jr., Kid Rock, and Tucker Carlson. Doja Cat has been behaving a little oddly towards her fans recently, and one conspiracy theorist on TikTok believes she knows exactly why. The rapper recently faced a backlash after speaking out about the practice of pop stars’ obsessive fan bases using collective nicknames to describe themselves. Doja Cat’s fans called themselves the "Kittenz". However, in a now-deleted post on social media platform Threads, the pop star said: “My fans don’t name themselves s***. If you call yourself a ‘kitten’ or f***ing ‘kittenz’ that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house.” Now, conspiracy theorist Aja, who goes by ‘jayllah_bae’ on TikTok, thinks she’s found an explanation for her unusual behaviour towards fans, which has seen Doja Cat lose close to 250,000 Instagram followers over recent weeks. Describing her subsequent actions as “sinister”, the TikToker also spoke about the musician's more recent weight loss, saying: “After that, I just started noticing that she lost a lot of weight. Doja Cat was always this thicc, juicy baddie [sic] and I mean thicker than cold peanut butter. “And I’m not f****** stupid, I know that sometimes people just change, but this s*** was like overnight.” She went on to post a follow-up video speaking about the “27 club ritual”, which is a list of celebrities who died at the age of 27. “See the 27 club is not just about death,” Aja said. “I’m talking about the 27 club ritual that [celebrities] go through to see if they’re either [going to] be young and impressionable forever and basically be a product for the masses, or are they going to end up dead, or are they going to transition into another part of their life.” It’s not the first time that conspiracy theorists have spoken about Doja Cat, after the rapper confirmed that she is not, in fact, a member of the illuminati earlier this year.
