While airborne and flying his Top Gun Warbird plane, the 60-year-old 'Top Gun' actor invited King Charles III to be his "wingman," in his pre-recorded video message for the new monarch. “Pilot to pilot. It looked remarkably similar to a video acceptance speech Cruise gave from the cockpit for the MTV Movie & TV Awards, where the actor sported the same cream-blue shirt, aviator sunglasses, green headphones and a headset. Though in this message there was the addition of a golden popcorn trophy as Cruise took home the best performance in a movie for his role in 'Top Gun: Maverick'. "Hi everyone. Thank you so much for this award. I make these sails for you. I love you. I love entertaining you," he said. "You know how much you enjoy it. How much you appreciate it. There's just no better feeling and I hope you enjoy 'Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One.' Cruise added the film will be released in July and that it's a "wild ride," and signed off by saying "We'll see you at the movies" before tilting off and flying for the clouds. Documentary maker Louis Theroux has responded to Piers Morgan's claims that he could "destroy" him in 30 seconds in a boxing match. This all came about after a clip was shared on X/Twitter of Theroux's upcoming season 2 of Louis Theroux Interviews with the first episode being a chat with heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua, which aired on Wednesday. During the conversation, Joshua proposes that he could promote a fight between Theroux and Piers Morgan. Theroux seems to like the idea of taking on the outspoken TalkTV host and reckons he could "take him" if the fight happened. Morgan wasn't prepared to accept this a responded by saying: "Have you lost your marbles, @louistheroux ? I’d destroy you in 30 seconds, you puny wastrel." This was clearly all in good spirits as 53-year-old Theroux chimed back with: "I don't think you've got the cardio fitness, Piers, TBF. You'd gas out and after that I'd just be playing music on your chin like a boxing Beethoven." Many onlookers backed Theroux to best 58-year-old Morgan in the theoretical contest. Whether this would actually happen remains to be seen but the current trend of celebrity boxing matches featuring the likes of Logan Paul, Jake Paul, KSI and Tommy Fury are undoubtedly popular and bring in millions of viewers. Anyone who has been on Twitter/X this week will perhaps have noticed that Cilla Black has been trending on the platform as people remember her funniest moments. The late singer and TV presenter entertained audiences with a career spanning over five decades, with sixties hits such as "Anyone Who Had a Heart" and "You're My World" before hosting her own BBC variety show, Cilla from 1968 to 1976. She continued to be a permanent fixture on our screens as the host of Blind Date (1985-2003) Surprise Surprise (1984-2001), and The Moment of Truth (1998-2001) The year 2013 marked a significant milestone for Cilla, having worked 50 years in the entertainment industry. Age gap relationships: The taboo that simply won't die. They are often met with confusion, and at times, sexist misconceptions tied to being financially motivated – but does an age gap really matter and can it affect the longevity of a healthy relationship? The debate has once again been reignited following Al Pacino's news he is expecting a child with his 29-year-old girlfriend, Noor Alfallah. The Godfather actor is 83. It comes weeks after fellow Hollywood star Robert De Niro, 79, shared that, he too, is set to welcome a baby with his long-term partner, Tiffany Chen, 45. The Marital Satisfaction of Differently Aged Couples revealed this resulted from the younger counterpart having "less resilience" when it comes to hard times. Paul Brunson, the world's most influential matchmaker best known for his role as a love doctor on Celebs Go Dating and Married at First Sight, explained: "You think about a physical setback, a financial setback, whatever it may be in the relationship – the younger person is less likely to be able to bounce back or manage it vs the older person." However, in some instances, "the younger person can learn from the older person to become more resilient, and the older person in the relationship can learn to open their level of understanding." Interestingly, satisfaction levels from those with a significant age difference are the highest out of the study with "sparks flying in the couple." Unfortunately, this is short-lived and eventually "fizzles out, before satisfaction plummets." According to the study, there is actually a perfect age gap between partners. "Typically, 0-3 years is considered the 'ideal' age gap, and when you look at marital satisfaction with couples rating the health of their marriage, the sex in their marriage and the outlook of their marriage, couples who typically have a 0-3 year age gap have the highest level of marital or relationship satisfaction." "The next run is a 4-6 year gap, they see less satisfaction – but there's still some. The couples who have 7+ years as a gap routinely show the lowest level of marital and relationship satisfaction."
