'A week ago my whole life changed'

Jessie J captioned the post and wrote: “A week ago my whole life changed My son entered the world and my heart grew twice the size. The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love. He is magic. He is all my dreams come true. He is my whole [world].” She continued, “He and I are both doing great. I am soaking up every second and still can’t believe he is real, here and mine. I am so grateful phew.”

She apparently wrote it tearing up as she indicated in the post, writing "Happy Tears. “For all of you that have followed my journey to this moment, thank you for all your continued love and support,” she added. The artist revealed she will be back on Instagram, when "I am ready."

'I am so happy and terrified to finally share this'

The 'Flashlight' singer first announced her pregnancy on January 6, 2021, in an emotional video that she posted on Instagram, as the artist suffered a miscarriage in November 2021 that she previously detailed on the social media platform. "I am so happy and terrified to finally share this…," she wrote after opening up on her miscarriage. "Please be gentle with me. Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate-covered pickle with no questions asked", she asked.

In August, months after suffering a miscarriage, she wrote, "When I was 16 years old, I wrote a list of things I wanted by the time I was 30," adding, "[First] thing on the list was to be a Mum. Now I'm nearly 35 and some days the grief of losing a baby and it not being easy to have one, and wanting my life in that way to look completely different to what it looks like right now just overwhelms me."

'I know it's healthy and normal to have days of complete sadness'

She further added, "I know it's healthy and normal to have days of complete sadness and to honor all the feelings that come up, good and bad. The bad isn't often at all and yes I could go through this moment right now today alone in private and usually do, but today I am here."

"Because I know thousands of people around the [world] feel just like I do. Maybe you read this and feel the love I have for you. I hope you can. Connecting is key. Hugging you all," she concluded.
