Al Roker and Deborah Robert’s son Nick spent one year at college
While Deborah went on a solo trip to pick her son up from college, she was surprised by the mess she noticed at his dorm. She shared a series of photos on her Instagram of her entire experience. The first photo reflects the two smiling at the camera while Nick gives a thumbs-up. In the second picture, she shares a glimpse of his messy dorm room, and the next photo is her reaction to the room.
The next pictures were of Nick’s laundry detergent and soap, and, finally, packing up all his stuff in the car. She shared a sweet caption, “And that’s it. First year down! College pickup. “Dorm disaster. Cleaning supplies barely cracked. Grime in drinking cups. Sneezing through the dust! “(Note to self: half the clothes and socks weren’t used). But we made it. And I couldn’t be prouder of Nick.” She then added the hashtags: “#perseverance #grit #grateful #heart #proud #parents.”
