LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fans are in awe of Bruce Willis smiling cheerfully as he rode Splash Mountain in Disneyland in the latest Instagram video released by his wife, Emma Heming. The 68-year-old star who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia after retiring from acting, went to the theme park with his wife as well as his children.
Heming has been known for providing excellent care for Bruce, and a renowned dementia specialist who assisted her in learning more about how to care for her husband once stated that the 44-year-old model has done an "absolutely remarkable job of providing the right support for Bruce" as his capabilities evolved and "created a place space and life that continues to provide him with what he needs to live well," as reported by TODAY.
Fans are in awe of Bruce's smile
Heming, 44, filmed with her smartphone while perched on the log ride with her husband, Bruce, and their daughter, Mabel, 11, just behind her. She said, "Here we go!" as the former Hollywood star put his left arm in front of his child, guarding her from the splash. The clip cuts to him saying, "Smile," following the fall. "You gotta watch out, I think we are gonna go again," Bruce kindly warned Mabel as he laughed and dabbed a few drops of sweat from his face.
'Thanks for all the memories Splash Mountain'
The 44-year-old model also shared a photo of Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29, Bruce's three daughters, whom he shares with ex-wife Demi Moore, who also joined the trip, but it is unclear precisely when the video was filmed. She enjoyed Splash Mountain several times, including outings with her daughter Mabel and nine-year-old Evelyn, whom she welcomed with Willis following their 2009 wedding. Last but not least, the model posted a brief reel in the slideshow that was shot from a great distance while she descended the ride's steep drop. Heming wrote in the caption, "You bet this family will be back for more fun and laughs when you reopen as Tiana Bayou! Thanks for all the memories Splash Mountain." According to People, the famous ride will become Tiana's Bayou Adventure and reopen in 2024, based on the Disney classic The Princess And The Frog. The renowned ride formally closed on May 31.
