NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: NBC’s ‘Today’ beloved host Hoda Kotb recently reacted to 'Saturday Night Live's (SNL) Halloween skit where they poked fun at her, suggesting that the morning host would be a SAG-AFTRA-approved costume.
Her reaction came after 'Today' featured a throwback of the Halloween celebration from 2021 and welcomed singer Kelly Clarkson as a special guest for Monday and Tuesday's broadcast.

During the Monday, October 30 PopStart segment, Carson Daly talked about celebrities who have already revealed their Halloween costumes and subsequently said, "If you're still in need of a last-minute idea for tomorrow, 'SNL' gave a great suggestion on Saturday's sketch, poking fun at SAG-AFTRA approved costumes."
He then showed a clip where Sarah Sherman donned a costume impersonating Fran Drescher, the president of SAG-AFTRA, and informed trick-or-treaters about which costumes had received approval.
Notably, SAG-AFTRA is presently in the midst of a strike and recently issued guidelines on appropriate Halloween costumes for striking actors.
In the video, Sherman is heard saying, "Unfortunately this year, you can't be Yoda, but you can be Hoda," as a young girl approached wearing a wig and a business suit reminiscent of Kotb’s attire on the ‘Today’ show.
She then held up a wine glass and humorously remarked, "The wig is fake, but the wine is real." The girl then took a sip from her glass before she walked away.
When the camera returned to the hosts, 59-year-old Kotb was visibly amused by the 'SNL' skit.
"Did you see that?" inquired Daly as Al Roker could be heard laughing heartily off-camera.
Kotb closed her eyes and nodded in acknowledgment, saying, "I did. I got a couple of texts on that one."
"Yeah. That was Kathie Lee [Gifford]-inspired," remarked Kotb remarked, alluding to her former co-host, who was known for drinking wine on-air.
"It's practical," said Daly turning to Hoda, and added, "It's funny, but it's a really good idea."
Kotb, along with her fellow co-hosts, wholeheartedly agreed.
Hoda Kotb shares photos of her children
Even though Hoda Kotb hasn't disclosed the Halloween costumes of her daughters, she did share some photos of them.
Earlier this month, Kotb took to Instagram to post adorable pictures of Haley and Hope, where they were seen coloring birthday cards while sitting on the floor.
One photo captured Haley wearing vibrant pink glasses with clear frames. In another picture, the children were seen posing alongside other family members.
