LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: One of the most common topics on ‘The View’ is politics, especially Donald Trump, whose name is mentioned quite frequently. The co-hosts don’t hold back while discussing Trump, even when it means calling him out on his recent controversies. In one of the segments of ‘The View’ the co-hosts discussed Trump’s sexual abuse allegations, and everyone, but especially Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin had a lot to say.
While the co-hosts like Sunny Hostin, Whoopi Goldberg, and Joy Behar tend to be more controversial and opinionated, there are times Griffin and Ana Navarro shine through. Well, looks like it was Griffin’s moment to shine, especially after one lone audience member clapped at something she said, leaving her beaming with happiness. A win is a win, Griffin!
‘I have a fan for once!’
Hostin doesn't miss a chance to talk about white women in relation to politics, and she didn't hold back this time either when she says, “I think that women, white women in particular, want to protect the patriarchy here, because it's to their benefit.” As Hostin continued talking, Griffin sought out a moment to jump in with a comment in the form of a question as she asked her fellow co-host, “To what do you attribute the continued Cuomo support among female voters or Bill Clinton support?” Before Hostin could respond, a single audience member clapped in response to Griffin’s posed question.
At first, Griffin didn’t even acknowledge the clap or the audience member. It was Hostin who stopped and pointed it out saying, “Oh thank you, that’s nice.” It was only then that Griffin excitedly changed her posture and beamed with the biggest smile and laugh, “I have a fan for once.” If she wanted to, Griffin could have continued laughing about this, but Hostin had her serious face on as she continued talking about Trump, putting a pause on Griffin’s moment of fame!
