The show’s format remains unchanged, featuring a monologue and guest appearances, including those by actress Jada Pinkett Smith and comedian Ricky Velez.
This isn’t Colbert’s first time hosting remotely; he has previously broadcasted the show from various locations in his house during the pandemic, even from his bathtub.
This revelation arrives merely a few days after Jada Smith made public that she and her husband, Will Smith, have been separated for the past seven years.
