LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Aniston is a star but there was a time when she unknowingly hung out with a legend while in her teens. Apparently, the ‘Friends’ star was once a frequent visitor of Cher’s house during her time at the Fiorello H LaGuardia High School in New York City. She was friends with the son of the “Goddess of Pop.”
During an appearance on ‘Live with Kelly and Ryan' in March, Aniston shared, as per People, “Well I went to high school with Chaz and amongst our group of, our gaggle, we would always go to her house because it was nice. It was Cher.” The ‘Murder Mystery’ star also mentioned the "beautiful windows" and "chiffon curtains" of Cher’s previous house.
‘It was fun’
She said, “It was just wild and wonderful ‘cause we didn't really know Cher. We were little kids in high school, though I guess you understand a little bit at that point. It was just fun to be able to hang out with Cher,” before adding, “She had food, from Belduccis, as she likes to say. And she seems to think I ate it all. She would always go, 'Yeah, you ate me out of house and home.' And I was like, 'How was I the only one partaking in the cold cuts!’”
The 54-year-old producer also went on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ in March, where she spoke of her ‘Murder Mystery 2’ co-star, Adam Sandler. She stated, “If I get anything from him, it's, 'What are you doing?' Usually, based on someone I'm dating… [he says] 'What are you doing? What's wrong with you?”
“He's so concerned with taking care of everybody else, which he really does, and he doesn't take care of himself. I'm sorry to call you out on national television Adam, but you have to know this. We have fun together,” Aniston asserted.
‘Jen is such a yes-girl'
At the time, a source spilled some beans on Aniston’s dating life with OK! They said, “Jen has found peace. Getting rid of her toxic exes has definitely helped her find her happy place. Jen is such a yes-girl that even after she and Justin [Theroux] broke up, she was still his biggest cheerleader. She was always calling him to check in.”
“Jen wants people to like her — and they do but she has a habit of putting other people’s happiness before her own,” the tipster noted, before adding, “Folks in her circle are always suggesting people Jen should meet, and lately, she’s actually agreed to a number of setups. She’s already had a few fun flings. So far, nothing has really worked but it’s a great sign that she’s willing to give it a shot.”
Meanwhile, Cher told ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ last year about Aniston's visits to her house. She said, “As a teenager, I mean as like a middle teenager. And (she would) eat me out of house and home.” The ‘Moonstruck’ star added, “The girls always used to, they knew when I went to Balducci's (grocery store), and they would just show up and just chow down. And (Aniston) was a big chow down-er.”
