CLEVELAND, OHIO: Jake Paul, a former YouTuber, observed his brother Logan Paul's return to the boxing ring after a hiatus of more than two years. Logan secured victory by disqualification when Dillon Danis was penalized.
In the hours following Logan's win, Jake was frequently observed on camera touching his nose, leading to accusations of drug use by numerous fans on social media.
Did Jake Paul do drugs during Logan Paul's fight?
Contrary to the allegations, Jake has clarified that he was simply sweaty after his brother's victory, attributing it to the intense bout that unfolded in the ring.
Jake Paul said, “Every 10 minutes of existing, I have to go like this [wipes noise]. I go to brawl in the ring to save my f*****g brother, there are 40 grown men around me."
"Everyone is huffing and puffing, I'm yelling 'You b***h, you're lucky I didn't f*****g kill you!' and I'm literally drenched in sweat."
The Problem Child further added, "Everyone knows that I’m the sweatiest person in the world, so I get in the ring to be there for my brother."
"I put my hat on and I’m going like this trying to get the sweat off my face. Obviously it looks f*****g crazy that I’m doing in this ring. I think it definitely didn't help that I got on camera and said 'You can run but you can't hide' [to Tommy Fury ]."
Jake Paul's girlfriend reacted to fake allegations
Following his victory over Nate Diaz in August, Jake is diligently preparing for his next match scheduled for December 15, against an undisclosed opponent.
The YouTube celebrity was unmoved by accusations that he used narcotics, but Jutta Leerdam, his girlfriend, was very offended by them.
She remarked, "It's an image people that trying to create of you, that isn't true. People don't even understand how serious you take your sport and how healthy you live."
She went on to say, "You take super good care of your body and you eat super healthy. People like to take away credibility from you and like to discredit you, it really really annoys me."
