CLEVELAND, OHIO: Logan Paul recently declared his retirement from boxing, but his brother Jake Paul doubts he'll stay away.
While the UK YouTubers initially sparked the influencer boxing trend, it was the involvement of Jake and Logan Paul that truly propelled it.
The brothers, who elevated the trend with their 2019 matches against KSI and Deji, continue their boxing endeavors.
On December 15, Jake is set to face 35-year-old fighter Andre August, boasting a 10-1-1 record. In contrast, Logan has opted for a different direction.
Jake Paul's take on Logan Paul retiring from boxing
Jake Paul has raised doubts, suggesting that Logan's competitive nature will make it challenging for him to remain retired.
“I don’t believe that. I don’t know when he’ll fight but he’s just got so much fight in him and he’s going into his athletic prime," Jake said when asked about Logan’s retirement on 'The MMA Hour' with Ariel Helwani.
“I think he’s going to fight again for sure,” Jake added.
As previously said, Logan is anticipated to work harder in the WWE now that he has won a title. Additionally, a pay-per-view event in Perth, Australia, has already been announced for him.
Jake Paul vs Andre August
In a recent episode of the popular 'IMPAULSIVE' podcast, Logan expressed his unwavering support for his brother Jake as he gears up for his upcoming boxing match against Andre August.
The stakes are high for Jake's second bout with a professional boxer, scheduled for December 15 in Orlando.
August is a formidable opponent for Jake in the boxing arena, with a 10-1 professional record. Given the significance of this fight, Logan stressed the need for success and the possible repercussions of failure.
"You got to win you got to win, cuz if this noname comes and starts f*****g up your record and what you’re trying to build for the rest of your life it's for free," Paul said.
