CLEVELAND, OHIO: Jake Paul recently opened up during an interview with 'The MMA Hour', saying he is ready to fight with KSI anytime and was not sure what was holding up the fight.
Notably, Jake Paul has had a successful boxing career so far, losing only once against Tommy Fury. He won his last match against UFC veteran Nate Diaz and is ready to take on Andre August on December 15.
Jake Paul wants to fight KSI
During the interview, KSI said, "I am ready. We can do it tomorrow. We can do it on your home turf. 185 pounds what's the excuse? Where is the negotiation getting stalled at? What's the hold up?"
Many people on X reacted to Jake Paul's statement. A user wrote, "At this point idc about KSI and Jake. We ain’t ever getting it, I’m over it" whereas one said, "It was Jake who ducked KSI first."
Another person wrote, "Bro get tf outta here with the 185. If Tommy can get to 183, there’s no way Jake can’t get to 180. That’s the Holdup! JJ coming up in weight and Jake going down, 180 is the middle ground. He can’t fathom fighting on equal terms for some reason".
A user added, "He was running from ksi the whole time he was active. as soon as he takes a break jake is quick to mention him".
Logan Paul warns Jake Paul on December 15 fight
On December 15, Jake Paul, a 10-time winner, squares up against 10-1 Andre August in a boxing match that does not take place on Pay Per View. Logan Paul isn't overly excited about August as an opponent, but he is a legitimate threat with five knockouts under his belt, despite not being quite as well-known as many of his prior opponents.
“Jake Paul…fighting a guy, December 15,” Logan Paul said.
Logan is aware of the battle that lies ahead, but he isn't entirely comfortable taking a chance on his notoriety in the influencer boxing world against a relatively unknown opponent.
“I get what Jake’s doing, but… you’ve gotta win. If this no-name comes in and starts f***ing up your record, what you’re trying to build for the rest of your life, for free, on a free fight, I don’t like the optics of that,” he added.
