LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Foxx was allegedly forced to get the Covid vaccination by a film studio in order to save his role in his latest project, claims a journalist who stated that he developed a clot in the brain which led to the mysterious "medical complication." The Academy Award-winning actor, 55, was rushed to hospital on April 11 in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was filming the action-comedy ‘Back In Action’ with Cameron Diaz.
Following the medical emergency, there has been practically no information released about Foxx’s medical status except a post from his daughter Corinne, who slammed reports that her father’s close ones were “preparing for the worst”. In her statement, Corinne claimed that the actor is home and feeling well enough to engage in some physical activity. “Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support!” she said.
'He did not want the shot'
But, veteran journalist A J Benza rubbished Corinne’s claims, stating that the family's statement was "all lies" and "baloney." The former New York Daily writer, who was also a host of the E! series 'Mysteries and Scandals,' claimed that he had an unidentified source “in the room” who’d told him Foxx had developed a blood clot “in his brain after he got the shot.” Speaking on the ‘Ask Dr Drew’ podcast, Benza continued by claiming that his “man in the room” had told him that the blood clot had left Foxx “partially paralyzed and blind.”
The journalist alleged that Foxx’s mysterious illness occurred after he was pressured to take a Covid vaccine. “He did not want the shot, but the movie he was in,” he said, referring to his latest project ‘Back in Action’. “He was pressured to get it," he continued. Benza then went on to theorize that the vaccine was apparently the reason Foxx “blew up” on the Atlanta set a week before his urgent hospitalization. However, while Benza’s claims are still not confirmed by Foxx’s reps, there are a few Hollywood actors, who lost their job after refusing to take the vaccine.
The actors who lost their job after refusing to take vaccine
Previously, Steve Burton, who portrayed Jason Morgan on ‘General Hospital’, was fired from the series following his refusal to follow the Covid-19 protocols. He added that he made the vaccination refusal choice based on personal freedom and that he didn't want anyone to "lose their livelihood over this,” as per Deadline. Then, Andrea Bordeaux was also fired from the Starz-Lionsgate TV series 'Run the World' after failing to follow on-set guidelines. The next name on the list was Ice Cube, who willingly left 'Oh Hell No' after turning down the Covid-19 vaccine, according to The Hollywood Reporter. His decision to leave the film apparently cost him a $9 million payday. The list also includes the name of Rockmond Dunbar and Ingo Rademacher, who lost their role due to their refusal to take the shot, according to Looper.
