LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ben Chan returned to ‘Jeopardy!’ recently and put an end to Hannah Wilson’s eight-game winning streak. The returning champion exited his three-day streak in April 2023 after being diagnosed with mild Covid-19 but came back with a bang when he beat Hannah and completed a four-day total of $129,001. Although, 'Jeopardy!' isn’t the only game that Ben excels at. The audiences recently got to learn about Ben’s off-TV antics that have resulted in championships on the field as well.
During the Friday, May 19 episode of ‘Jeopardy!’, Ben surprises everyone that he has other wins outside of the famous game show. He revealed that he was a star both on TV and on the sports field as well. This came as a surprise for many who assumed him to be a straight run-of-the-mill guy who looks studious and might be stuck in a day job. But ‘Jeopardy!’ host Mayim Bialik cleared the air.

Ben is an ultimate frisbee champion
Mayim Bialik announced a fun fact about Ben on the episode. "I'm kinda surprised and also not surprised to learn that you're an ultimate frisbee champ as well," Mayim said. Ben confirmed her statement that he was indeed a frisbee titleholder, suggesting that he might look familiar to the audience of the show because of the team he plays for. “If I look familiar, it's because I'm a key roleplayer on the Green Bay City League Champs [and we're] 2X champs,” Ben said. Mayim joked, "Indeed, that is where I thought I recognized you.”
Eighth straight victory on ‘Jeopardy!’
Ben is a certified frisbee champion but it looks like he’s not entirely known for that specific reason. However, Ben is popular for being a 7X winning ‘Jeopardy!’ winner who secured his eighth victory on Friday’s episode. He finished that game with $14,800, taking his total earnings in the gameshow to $227,800. Ben has been utterly dominant since his return as he dethroned the former champion, Hannah Wilson.
It’s remarkable to see Ben charge brutally toward his victories. Ben returned to ‘Jeopardy!’ after recovering from his sickness as the game show’s second undefeated player with a three-day total of $69,001, and in no time, he’s amassed earnings of $227,800. Ben had a big grin by the end of Friday's episode and looks primed to continue his winning streak.
