NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Taylor Swift and Matty Healy have reportedly called quits after fuelling romance rumors for about a month. The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer, 33, was first linked to The 1975 frontman in early May when he was spotted at the Nashville stop of her Eras Tour. Their romance rumors came less than a month after Swift ended her six-year-long relationship with Joe Alwyn, whom she started dating in May 2017.
Since their separation, the ‘Harriet’ actor has maintained a dignified silence but sources reveal he’s on the verge of losing his cool. As per reports, Alwyn is furious over Swift using him as fodder for her lyrics in which she disparages her horde of ex-lovers. “It may have been delusional, but Joe was under the impression she’d spare him the Harry Styles treatment,” an insider told Radar Online. Styles, the former One Direction member, who dated Swift in late 2012, was apparently the subject behind her breakup anthem ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’.

The tipster also added that Swift was clearly spilling the beans about her failed six-year affair with Alwyn in her recent track ‘You’re Losing Me!’
“My heart won’t start anymore for you ‘cause you’re losing me,” she says in the song. Swift then allegedly made a reference to their romance by saying, "You don't know what you got until it's gone." However, another source claimed that the track was not about Alwyn as the ‘Midnight Rain’ singer had moved on quite quickly with Healy. They also stated that Alwyn was very embarrassed and disappointed when he first found out about her new romance.
“Joe finds it very embarrassing and disappointing — especially when she’s flaunting this tacky new romance. The hypocrisy and sheer rudeness of it all are off the charts. He’s not the type to kiss and tell, but he’s not a pushover either. He’s respectfully asking her to let him move on — and shut up!” the tipster dished further. Previously it was reported that after their split, Alwyn is more focused on his work and has landed a pivotal role in the upcoming film 'The Brutalist'.

Alwyn's side of the story came just a day after it was revealed that Swift has ended her whirlwind romance with Healy. "Taylor and Matty broke up. They are both extremely busy and realized they're not really compatible with each other," a source tells ET, adding, "Taylor's friends want what's best for her and aren't shocked that their relationship fizzled out since she recently got out of a long-term relationship."
Swift had a brief fling with Healy nearly a decade ago that was cut short in part by his issues about dating Swift but they reconnected right around the time her relationship with Alwyn ended. Since the start, Swift’s friends and fans have been concerned about her new romance with Healy, who has a history of substance abuse, many controversial comments, and kissing fans at concerts.
