AUSTIN, TEXAS: The UFC commentator and host of famous podcast ‘JRE’ Joe Rogan recently invited Dwayne Johnson, famously known as The Rock, to his podcast, where the two got involved in a deep conversation. Apart from all other conversations, Rogan didn’t fail to gush praise for Dustin Rhodes.
Additionally for those who are not verse with, Rogan is an ardent follower of wrestling. Joe Rogan and Dwayne Johnson appeared to take great delight in the narrative surrounding Dwayne Johnson's debut.
What did Joe Rogan say?
Looking back at the WWE 1996 Survivor Series debut match, the Rock was appreciative of all the other celebrities present. He could not have been the night's biggest star without their support and recognition.
Joe made the remark regarding Dustin Rhodes, also known as Goldust precisely after this. Looking back, the two saw the Rock pin Goldust in his WWE debut match as Rocky Maivia. Dwayne identified the man as Goldust while watching the video.
To this, Joe Rogan said, “That guy was amazing.” Even though Rogan used to be critical of professional wrestling, it seems that he is now starting to recognise the legacy of the industry's stars.
He recently asserted that there is no greater evidence to support his assertion that he has begun to comprehend the professional wrestling business.
Joe Rogan and The Rock work out together
In addition to having the 'Black Adam' star on his podcast, Rogan also managed to squeeze in an incredible workout with him. “That was a blast. Dude that was three hours,” Johnson joked during his 'JRE' podcast.
“You and me, we had a f**king banging workout. Then we did the sauna, we did the cold plunge, we did the whole experience," he continued.
He further added, “We did the sauna again. The cold plunge man… that was great. And I love what you’re doing down here by the way with the boys. Getting them down here, giving them the opportunity to get after it, not only their craft, but to get in shape.”
