Following the release of these messages, Kai Cenat directly addressed Bruce, advising him to seek therapy and expressing concern about having Bruce in his circle.
In the leaked DMs, Bruce criticized Cenat's short film 'Global Pursuit,' commenting on Cenat's actions and skills while using offensive language, which caused a stir on the internet.

The saga unfolded on October 11, 2023, when a user on platform X shared a series of revealing tweets displaying BruceDropEmOff's private direct messages.
The tweets showed the Kick streamer's messages, where he criticized Kai Cenat's acting abilities, specifically referencing his short film, 'Global Pursuit.'
BruceDropEmOff also used a derogatory term in reference to American rapper Lil Yachty, stating, "Now N-word want to go into acting like ain't been acting. IDC Cailou, on god, I'm not watching that s**t. Man, though Yachty is a f****t, too. He called me when they dropped it to ask me to be on it. Friday."
Further in the messages, BruceDropEmOff requested the removal of posts related to Adin Ross and Cheesur, using an offensive term to describe them. He also mentioned Darren "IShowSpeed."
"Remove every post talking about Adin, Cheesur. Them lame cr**kers. That Speed s**t showed it all. MFs is about to do the craziest s**t to stay relevant. Now, Kai (is) playing CS. Lol, MFs are d**k riders. Yo, NGL (not going to lie), check my inv (invite)," read the tweet.
Addressing the controversy during a livestream on October 13, 2023, Kai Cenat strongly disapproved of BruceDropEmOff's remarks.
He explicitly stated that he no longer wished to be associated with the streamer, describing him as "dangerous":
