CLEVELAND, OHIO: Fans have been clamoring to watch Jake Paul fight KSI since influencer boxing has just become increasingly popular. It looks like they might have to wait till 2024.
'The Nightmare' went home after his defeat by Tommy Fury and appeared on YouTube with his British influencer group, The Sidemen.
KSI avoids answering about fighting against Jake Paul
When asked if Paul was the next in line for KSI in a recent video from The Sidemen, KSI chose not to respond. Now that his mind was clear, KSI also shared his current opinions on the fight with Tommy Fury.
He said, "I did what I wanted to do at the end of the day."
He went on to say, "I was this kid who was a YouTuber who had no right to be in the ring with Tommy Fury, and I showed the world that if you believe in yourself and work hard you can literally do whatever you want."
An X user posted KSI's clip stating, "KSI reflects on his fight with Tommy Fury and says he’s unsure if he’ll fight Jake Paul."
The public is being sternly reminded by the British YouTuber that influencer boxing is far different from "real" boxing by his remarks made after the match.
When will Jake Paul vs KSI take place?
KSI has numerous enterprises, including the well-known energy drink PRIME, so he is well-poised to keep fighting.
He may be friends and have a business relationship with Logan Paul, Jake Paul's older brother, but he has a rivalry going with Jake.
Paul constantly chastised the London native for how he handled defeat and made fun of KSI's decision to challenge the fight's outcome.
Over the years, there have been more and more rumors about KSI and Jake Paul fighting, so it seems inevitable that they will ultimately square off.
Jake Paul tweeted, "I took my loss like a man from the scorecard read and showed the youth how to learn from it and come back to take a W. This 30 year old man crying for an appeal."
However, it appears that fans will have to wait until at least 2024 to witness the eagerly anticipated battle as Paul recently announced that he would fight on December 15 against an opponent to be announced.
