LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Paramount’s ‘Yellowstone’ is coming to an end with its fifth and final season, and while fans might be disappointed, the cast and crew have made peace with this scenario. Lainey Wilson, a country singer who made her acting debut on ‘Yellowstone’, stole hearts and people who had not heard of her earlier, are now her fans.
As 'Yellowstone' comes to an end, questions about the future of several cast members loom large, and that includes Wilson too. However, she doesn’t seem worried about it all. She has a rather positive take on the show’s ending and she still has faith in Taylor Sheridan.

Lainey Wilson's contagious positivity
Sheridan created a character specifically for Wilson, according to sources. She truly embodied her role in ‘Yellowstone’ and became a hit among viewers. It would make sense that given her success, her worries about her character were next to none. Wilson spoke to USA Today about her first on-screen kiss on the Paramount+ show, stating that she had no idea what she was doing. Wilson said, "I didn't really know what I was doing, but you go in there head-first. I was going to give people their money's worth."
Expressing faith in Sheridan, Wilson told Entertainment Tonight, "No matter which direction it goes, it’s gonna be incredible because Taylor Sheridan, I mean, he can do no wrong, in my opinion.” These comments were made amid the recent revelations about Sheridan’s ridiculous expenses. Wilson reportedy awaits a call from Paramount and Sheridan, to let her know what is next in store for her.
Taylor Sheridan’s never-ending saga
Sheridan is that filmmaker who always has a trick up his sleeve, and in this case, it is usually a prequel, sequel or spin-off. If Sheridan could have molded an entire character for Wilson in ‘Yellowstone’, he can hopefully continue doing the same in his upcoming series too. Nevertheless, Wilson is ready and excited. Now that she has made her acting debut, there will, hopefully, be more opportunities, and not just from from Sheridan. Between scheduling conflicts, crazy expenses and everything in between, Wilson feels secure and steady.
