Landon also discussed collaborating with his girlfriend, Charli D’Amelio, navigating the music industry with guidance from his father, Travis Barker, and the quest for balance amid his bustling life.
In July 2022, reports surfaced that TikTok sensation Charli D'Amelio made her relationship with the musician official on Instagram. The couple's public acknowledgment led fans to affectionately dub them "Chardon."

To which Landon Barker said, "It’s honestly been pretty good. I’ve been on, like, TikTok watching it. There’s, like, little clips going around. People were like, What movie is this from? So I’m like, Damn, I’m excited about it.”
About his debut single, he said, “It’s kind of about falling in love with somebody you’re not supposed to, but still seeing things through and having a good outcome.”

During the same interview, Landon Barker opened up about his favorite slang. The host questioned, "Hey, it’s Landon Barker, and here’s some of the slang I used growing up."
The GenZ star said, "The first one is ‘bet' I’m sure it’s, like, a lot of people say it, that just means, OK, instead of saying, OK, you say bet."
He added, "The second one is 'for sure' It’s more of like a texting one, but it’s spelled F-S-H-O, like, Fa sho. Whenever I’m talking to my friends or talking to my dad, or somebody about working, like, at the studio, I’ll just say, 'The Stu,' like, S-T-U.
So those are my three slang words that I use a lot."
