"We're in a post-truth world where you can't believe the media, you can't believe Big Pharma, you can't believe politicians, you can't believe what you're eating, you can't believe yourself," Williams said in the video. "Since we've existed, (if) there is a time where this whole empire could fall, it's now," he added.

"Of course these things are going to arise because we can't trust anybody or anything. And I personally just believe and invest in my wife and my kids and my family. And yeah, I believe in them," he said.

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Williams has recorded a secret song with former Miss France Mareva Galanter. The pair, who met 14 years ago at the Miss France final in 2009, worked on the duet titled 'Une Tahitienne à Paris' ('A Tahitian in Paris').

That is what I would rather be doing but I am there to provide a service," Williams said on the 'Robbie Williams Rewind' podcast.
Williams also said he wants to tune in with James Blunt. "I want to write with James. We have bumped into each other a lot this year. We keep saying we will get into a room but we are seldom in one place," he said.
