Apart from being a political strategist, Ana’s impressive resume also boasts of her role as a popular TV host of ABC’s daytime show 'The View'. Along with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, the 51-year-old member of the Republican Party is a breath of fresh air for her viewers and when she shares her views or snippets from her life, people take notice.
Recently, Ana revealed a string of unfortunate and gut-wrenching news which left her in shock. While Ana was enjoying her weekend with a bunch of friends, she was hit with the soul-crushing news of the death of her friend’s son and before she could digest or recover from it, another similar news hit her with a full force of abruptness. Ana took a while to fathom the news and then took to social media to express her sorrow.
'Live and love fully'
When Ana returned after a fun weekend with her friends, a piece of devastating news was never on the list. But ‘The View’ host learned of it and then took to her Instagram Story to inform her followers about it. She wrote, “Today, I woke up to the news a friend's son died of a heart attack. Then I heard another dear friend had two strokes." She ended her story with, “Just came here to remind us to seize the day — live and love fully.”
Fans were eager to learn more about the specifics but Ana, out of respect for the grieving family, did not divulge any further details on the matter. However, before a moment of immense clarity and realizing the unexpected nature of life, Ana did rather share a piece of happy news that recently got her to Hollywood.
'About My Father'
Ana revealed lately that she made a small cameo in Robert De Niro’s ‘About My Father’. According to the official website, “The film centers around Sebastian (Maniscalco) who is encouraged by his fiancée (Leslie Bibb) to bring his immigrant, hairdresser father, Salvo (De Niro), to a weekend get-together with her super-rich and exceedingly eccentric family (Kim Cattrall, Anders Holm, Brett Dier, David Rasche).”
In the film, Ana is seen doing a news report on the immigration policy debate while trimming her nails as Kim Cattrall’s character talks. ‘About My Father’ released on May 26, 2023, in theaters.
