SUVA, FIJI: 'Love Island Games' Season 1 islanders Ray Gantt and Imani Ayan were the strongest couple in the Peacock spinoff show. However, Mike Boateng's arrival sabotaged the power couple's connection.
In the recoupling twist, Mike chose Imani to be coupled up with leaving Ray and Imani devastated. Imani left into tears and expected Ray to come forward and confess his feelings.
However, Ray surprisingly fumed over Imani as Mike picked her during the recoupling. Meanwhile, the viewers took to social media and slammed Ray over his 'childing' behaviour.
An X user wrote, "Ray being cold towards Imani is nonsense. It’s not like she’s the one who chose Michael. Like please bffr. He did the same thing after the kiss during the pool party.
Another viewer tweeted, "WTF is wrong with Ray? His so childish." Another person added, "Ray is acting like imani is actively choosing mike…mike chose her and your giving her the cold shoulder…men are sooooo."
Another critic penned, "Ray is pissing me off! Imani is crying and now I'm furious! He's mad at her for getting picked and I don't get why!" Another internet user questioned, "Why is ray pouting? It’s not Imani’s fault mike chose her."
Another social media user noted, "This cold shoulder routine from Ray is very very childish. Imani is about to move away from him cause, nah. Not even that Mike is that great but this behaviour is really really lame."
Imani Ayan and Mike Boateng's kiss leaves Ray Gantt mad
Mike Boateng explored connection in the villa as soon he arrived as a bombshell. However, the 'spin the bottle' challenge jeopardized Imani Ayan and Ray Gantt's connection.
As the bottle spun during the challenge, Mike reached across the table and forced the bottle to land on him. While the group cheered him on, Mike went to Imani and planted a steamy smooch on her.
The islanders were excited about the kiss except Ray. He admitted in the confessional, "It's never cool to watch your lady get kissed by another dude."
Mike Boateng was smitten by Justine Ndiba
Before kissing Imani Ayan during the 'Spin The Bottle' challenge, Mike Boateng had a spark with Justine Ndiba. In the previous episode, Mike spun the bottle which landed on Justine, who instantly bursts into giggles.
Mike and Justine waste no time embarking on a hot and heavy make-out session in front of the islanders. In his confessional, Mike told the camera, "I'm not going to lie, the kiss was amazing."
Mike appeared to be totally smitten by Justine and all the islanders were convinced that the bombshell would couple up with the islander.
'Love Island Games' Season 1 airs six days a week from Sunday to Friday at 9 PM ET on Peacock.
