As per backstage sources, the ‘Queen of Pop’ and Columbian star have been rehearsing for the much-anticipated world tour and something is definitely brewing up between the two. It is reported that she hinted about a possible ‘cozy and very cuddly’ relationship with the 29-year-old with her dancers. The two have remained friends since the iconic star introduced herself to the younger singer at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2018. Reports were rife about their incredible chemistry while they shot a song together for those few days. “They were cozy and very cuddly — so much so that other people decided to leave them alone to get on with whatever is going on,” as per one tour source.
“They spent a few days together during rehearsals where the flirting began — people think it’s likely he’ll be performing on the South American leg of her tour as he’s massive there — and then they hung out all weekend in New York. They seemed ridiculously close and their chemistry is insane,” it added. A source talked about Madonna’s clip with Maluma on her private Instagram account, “She gives him a big kiss in front of the other dancers and then she straddles him. The duo performed in ‘Medellin’ song from Madonna’s 'Madame X' album, where they were seen dancing, humping, and getting married. There was even a scene where Madonna can be seen licking Maluma’s big toe. Maluma in an interview shared that they have kissed for real on the lips and told the ‘The Rock Star Show’ podcast host “We have a good relationship. I can call her and ask her about anything in my life and she will answer me with all the love in the world.”
'She feels really validated'
Madonna is presently busy preparing for her upcoming ‘Celebration Tour,’ which marks her 40 years of success in the industry. “Her career has always been her first love,” said the source before adding “She’s been thrilled at how many dates have already sold out. She was becoming concerned about her popularity but she feels really validated by the number of tickets that have been sold all over the world.”
