MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, recently attended the prestigious Women of Vision Awards, where the Duchess of Sussex found herself at the receiving end of a heckling incident. A viral footage on social media shows the couple arriving for Ms Foundation’s annual gala at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in Manhattan, where Meghan, 41, was honored as one of 2023’s Woman of Vision Award honorees for her global advocacy to empower women and girls.
During the Duchess' arrival, she looked like a vision donned in gold but as soon as Meghan stepped out of the car, a man with a British accent can be heard yelling, "Meghan, how do you feel about being a part of two broken families?” The question appeared to reference her strained relationship with certain members of her own family, as well as the ongoing tensions within the British royal family. Unbothered Meghan swiftly got out of the car and grabbed her mom's hand and appeared to walk inside the event.
