NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The veteran news journalist Megyn Kelly mocked Senator Lindsey Graham on her podcast for his idea of sending US Troops on the ground to fight in the Israel-Hamas war.
Senator Graham recently announced that the US should go after Iran if the war between Israel and Hamas escalates.
In an interview on NBC News 'Meet the Press', Senator Graham said, “I’m poised to use military force to cut off Iranian funding for Hamas and Hezbollah” and also praised President Joe Biden for his strong statement and support of Israel.
Kelly however wasn’t entirely moved by Senator Graham’s statement and stated that no one wants to see American troops on the ground fighting in Israel.

Kelly played a clip of President Biden’s recent appearance on CBS’ 60 Minutes where host Scott Pelley asked him about the possibility of American troops on the ground in Israel.
President Biden replied, “I don’t think that’s necessary. Israel has one of the finest fighting forces in the world.”
The former Fox News star then jumped to the conclusion that no one wants to see American boots on the ground.
She said agitatedly, “No one wants to see American boots on the ground there. Nobody.”
However, Kelly reminded her viewers of Senator Graham and his statements, indicating that except for him, no one wants to see the intervention of the American military in Israel.
She said, “You know the people who are trying to defend Hamas in America with like the Forever war..no one wants that..literally nobody other than Lindsey Graham wants to see boots on the ground and America starting a war with Iran."
Kelly slammed Senator Graham and clarified that the need of the hour is to support Israel and not start another war with a different country.
“This is about supporting Israel and its right to exist and defend itself which is a commitment we’ve made under Democrat and Republican Presidents since decades.”
Megyn Kelly points out the anti-Israel sentiment in America’s allied nations
Kelly later played a clip of a Pro-Palestine rally held in the United Kingdom for her viewers, saying that the Pro-Hamas rhetoric “engulfing the West” is truly shocking.
“We have seen it everywhere in places that are America’s most important allies, like the UK.”
Kelly showed a clip of a Pro-Hamas rally near the Prime Minister’s residence in London and in utter disbelief remarked, “Did you see this?”
She revealed that the Palestinian slogan, “From the River to the sea, Palestine will be free” is completely an “exterminate Israel slogan.”
