After a run of failed relationships, the box office sensation is once again "on the prowl" and desperate to find "someone special," according to reports.
Cruise has wed three times — first to Mimi Rogers, then to Nicole Kidman, and lastly, Katie Holmes, who he divorced in 2012. Shakira, who is now unmarried, grabbed his attention during the Formula 1 Grand Prix, but it was said that the well-known Colombian singer didn't reciprocate his feelings and isn't ready for a committed relationship following her breakup with longtime boyfriend, Gerard Piqué.
'Tom goes from zero to 100'
One source revealed, "Tom is an all-or-nothing character, he goes from zero to 100," stating he is a romantic at heart. "His friends have gently advised that he'd do well to dial it back." Prior to the 'Hips Don't Lie' singer, Cruise's 'Mission Impossible 7' co-star Hayley Atwell was mentioned as a prospective girl friend, although she denied the relationship rumors. Tom and Hayley both have a great deal of regard for one other, according to one of Cruise's close friends. Their connection was described as having "more of a professional rapport."Atwell made similar comments while voicing his opinion on the matter.
'Tom's had some rotten luck lately'
The action starlet explained about their close bond, "What I feel is the truly extraordinary power of platonic love, which seems to be sometimes under-represented." Although Tom's search for Mrs. Right is ongoing, the insider said that "Tom's passionate and can't help jumping into things with both feet, it's who he is." It's what gave him business success. The insider added, "There's no getting around that Tom has had some rotten luck lately. But he's totally on the market to date again," as reported by RadarOnline.
Early life of Tom Cruise
Tom is of German, Irish, and English origin, and both of his parents were natives of Louisville, Kentucky. Tom was a young kid who spent his childhood constantly on the road. By the time he was 14, he had attended 15 schools across the United States and Canada. He eventually made his home in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, with his mother and her new spouse. Tom aspired to become a priest while still in high school, but he quickly discovered acting to be more appealing. Tom quit school, left for New York at 18, with hopes to pursue acting there.
