The CEO of the company, Peter Murray, has now stated that they are working on arranging super-fights for their two superstars as the new year draws near.
Peter Murray confirms big fights in PFL for 2024
The news that Francis Ngannou vs Deontay Wilder and Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz Super Fights were being discussed for 2024 was first revealed on November 25, by @HappyPunch. The precise nature of the confrontations and their rule sets remain unknown, though.
"Francis Ngannou vs Deontay Wilder and Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz Super Fights in 2024 are in talks, PFL CEO Peter Murray confirms," the tweet read.
PFL has hinted at the possibility of Ngannou and Wilder fighting under mixed rules. 'The Predator' faced up against current heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in October and lost by controversial split decision.
The fight's most significant moment occurred when the Cameroonian submitted Fury in the third round.
In the interim, Jake Paul Paul has been urging an MMA bout with Nate Diaz for a long time. In their boxing match, "The Problem Child" prevailed over Diaz. Paul has been aiming to surpass Diaz in his own sport ever since.
