BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: In a recent episode of 'Piers Morgan Uncensored', the outspoken journalist, Piers Morgan, engaged in a pointed discussion with controversial online figure Andrew Tate.
The conversation delved into various topics, including the Covid-19 pandemic, leading Morgan to counter Andrew's contentious views regarding the subject.
Piers Morgan dismantles Andrew Tate's Covid-19 argument
Piers Morgan broached the subject of the pandemic, prompting a dismissive and mocking reaction from Andrew Tate. The journalist went on to highlight the significant impact of vaccines in saving millions of lives, a viewpoint widely supported by the scientific community.
In response, Andrew casually referred to these experts as "The Matrix."
As the discussion unfolded, the contentious influencer questioned the current status of Covid-19, prompting Morgan to draw a parallel with the historical trajectory of the flu.
He pointed out the fallacy in Andrew's argument, saying, "Flu pandemic about a hundred years ago killed fifty to a hundred million people. It's gotten steadily milder over the decades since. This is a normal medical science pathway through most pandemics. So on that, your sort of cast iron it was all sort of Matrix, MSM nonsense is palpably untrue."
Piers Morgan under fire after interviewing Andrew Tate
Piers Morgan's Monday, November 20 interview with Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate led to the journalist facing a lot of backlash for providing the bothers with a platform when they face serious allegations of rape, human trafficking, and organized crime.
Dr Charlotte Proudman, a lawyer and gender equality activist, expressed her disapproval on X (formerly Twitter), stating, "Just heard Piers Morgan is apparently on a flight back from Romania after interviewing Andrew Tate, a self-proclaimed misogynist. Who on earth would give a platform to a man awaiting trial for rape & sexual trafficking?"
She added, "Who cares what he has to say. Let’s hear survivor’s voices."
