NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ host Robin Roberts missed the episode of the morning show that aired on Friday, November 24, to resurface at an exotic place away from the hustle and bustle of New York City.
Roberts celebrated her 63rd birthday on Thanksgiving and shared a post informing her fans that a “second honeymoon” trip was on its way.
The ‘GMA’ star kept her promise, packed her bags, and is now enjoying her “second honeymoon” with wife Amber Laign in a jungle as per her new post.

Roberts revealed her whereabouts to her followers as she spent the day with her wife.
In her absence from the show, Juju Chang took her seat on Friday. She sat next to Michael Strahan and Whit Johnson.
The three main hosts, Roberts, Strahan, and George Stephanopoulos, were all absent on Thursday on Thanksgiving. However, they were present a day before kickstart Thanksgiving celebrations on ‘GMA’.
Roberts did not say when she would be back on ‘GMA’. However, she did reveal where she is honeymooning in an Instagram post.
She took to the social media platform on Friday to let her followers know that she was on her second honeymoon.
Roberts shared a video of a monkey climbing down a tree and leaping from one to another. "It’s a jungle out there!" Robin captioned the post, adding, "The adventure continues with honeymoon #2."
While she did not say where she was exactly, many fans in the comments section speculated it was Costa Rica.
One fan, while complimenting Roberts' video, wrote, “Beautiful, Are You In Costa Rica? Enjoy Yourselfs.”
A second also noted, “Looks like Costa Rica,” while a third added, “I think you are in Costa Rica. Have a fab honeymoon #2!”

The couple confirmed their marriage ahead of the ceremony, which created a buzz on social media at the time. Their beloved dog, Lukas, confirmed they were wed in an adorable Instagram post.
He posed for a photo in a tuxedo collar while sitting on a wooden bench. The caption read, "My mommies are MARRIED!!!!! Married?.....yes....married!!!!"
The duo met in 2005 after being set up on a blind date.
